Make the most out of Nutrition Month with unMEAT

Did you know that since 1971 the Philippines has been celebrating Nutrition Month every July?

This annual campaign was initiated to raise awareness on the importance of proper nutrition to promote healthy eating among Filipinos.

This year, it becomes even more exciting as unMEAT, a 100% plant-based meat brand that looks and tastes like real meat, also celebrates the month-long campaign with a series of activities to empower Filipinos to try healthier food alternatives.

It starts with the release of Solenn Heussaff-Bolzico’s online commercials, which can be viewed on unMEAT’s official Facebook page.

Not only that, the mom of two also shared easy recipes using unMEAT which she carefully crafted so that everyone can also try them at home.

People can also cook her recipes, uploaded by Solenn on her Instagram page, which include unMEAT Giniling Curry, unMEAT Nuggets Japanese Rice Bowl, her version of the popular Vietnamese sandwich, Banh Mi, and many more.

“Nutrition Month is the perfect time to start developing healthier eating habits, and unMEAT makes the whole journey easier and enjoyable for many of us.

Its many product variants allow us to be creative with the dishes we can try and indulge in without guilt,” said Solenn.

unMEAT’s Nutrition Month initiatives continue with a collaboration with Kanto Freestyle Breakfast where customers can enjoy all-day breakfast offerings using various unMEAT variants.

The collaboration will be unveiled at its Bonifacio Global City branch and will also be rolled out in its Kapitolyo and Makati branches for a limited time only.

Customers can also find unMEAT in Shakey’s “Good Nuggets”, in 7-11 products such as the Big Time Meals with the plant-based Burger Steak, 7-Fresh x unMEAT Plant-Based Burger and 7-Fresh x unMEAT K-Style Plant-Based Chicken Burger.

But, you can also participate in Nutrition Month on your own by stocking up on unMEAT in different variants – all with zero cholesterol, high in protein, high in fiber –  so you can cook up recipes in ways you prefer.

With prices starting at PHP120 and serves at least 2 to 3 persons, and PHP99 for its canned products, find unMEAT in select leading supermarkets, in 7-11 stores, nationwide, and online via Lazada and Shopee.

  1. I am a big fan of the vegan meat alternatives. I enjoy Beyond Meat, but was really excited for when Impossible meat came out. I remember reading about Impossible products being available only in huge cities like Los Angeles around a year before they made it into stores near me. I love Impossible burgers and nuggets. I’ve never heard of unMEAT brand, but am excited to try it now. Thanks for sharing about it!

  2. unMEAT sounds like a fantastic meat-free alternative brand! Here in Denmark, we have Beyond Meat among other brands, and I think it’s great there are alternatives for those that are vegetarian/vegan or want to reduce their meat intake.
