Incheon Airport to Myeongdong Bus
An easy way to get from Incheon airport to Myeongdong via airport bus
There are many modes of transportation you can take from the airport, but this was such a convenient way to get to Myeongdong.
And it’s the Incheon Airport to Myeongdong Airport bus.
Where to get the Bus
So when you arrive in Incheon airport, you have to look for one of the bus counters.
There’s usually a sign with a bus icon, which makes it easier to spot.
There are a lot of bus counters throughout the airport.
For example if you arrive in Terminal 1, Gate B, there’s a bus counter near.
For this guide, I’ll be explaining my experience when I arrived in Terminal 1.
How to book Incheon airport to Myeongdong bus tickets
You can book online via Klook. This is what I did for my previous trip to Korea and it was very convenient. I just had to show the QR code at the bus counter and they exchange it for a physical bus ticket.
Another way is to buy the ticket outright. You just have to tell the staff which bus you’re taking or which stop. In this case, I told her Myeongdong.
For the bus route and which are the stops, you can go to the airport limousine website to check.

How much is the airport bus ticket?
One way bus ticket to Myeongdong cost me 17,000 Korean won.
Where to find the bus in the airport
The Airport Limouse website also a map on where the bus stop is.
But for Terminal one, you have to look for bus stop 5B-1. And the airport for the Myeongdong bus is 6015.
You just have to double check which bus stop is nearest your hotel.
The nearest stop for me was the last stop, which was beside the Myeongdong subway exit 8.
One of the reasons why I like taking the airport bus is you don’t have to worry about lugging around your suitcases they’ll store it in the bus.
There’s also a learning curve when it comes to taking the subway in Korea, so I prefer the bus since it’s less confusing.
The journey to Incheon to Myeongdong took over an hour and it’s nice that there are a lot of stops so depending on where your hotel is, you can choose which stop to get off at.
It was fast getting to Seoul from Incheon, but depending on where your stop is, it can take a while.
Since my stop was the last, maybe it took me an hour and a half to get to my bus stop.
From there, I walked a few minutes to my hotel.
I chose to stay at Myeongdong just because I wanted to go shopping in the Myeongdong shopping street and visit stores like Poca Spot, Spao, and the like!.
And if you’re curious to know where I stayed in Myeongdong, I’ll be doing a post for that so stay tuned and be sure you’re following.
