The Law Cafe Episode 5 synopsis

According to the synopsis in Viu, “Yu Ri explains why she kissed Jung Ho and tells him that she likes him. Jung Ho is flustered by how easily she confesses her feelings but also quite bitter, thinking her feelings may not be as deep as his. A new client comes to the café and inquires about revoking the suspension of her indictment.”

The Law Cafe Episode 5 reaction and discussion

Ya’ll I was so shocked that they kissed!! And only at the end of episode 4?!

I’m so used to the couples kissing usually in episode 8 or later if some dramas prolong the tension between the leads.

But the funny part is when Jung Ho was about to return the kiss, he started having cramps.

The hilarity doesn’t end there. He ends up at the chiropractor and Yuri explains that she likes him in FRONT of the chiropractor. Hahaha it’s so funny and awkward at the same time.

Then she confessed to him but he rejected her.

Why? I thought he liked her?

And I get why he’s been holding back because of his dad and the link to her father’s case but still.

I would have expected a whole different reaction like being flattered that his love is not one-sided anymore.

Is he hurt because she said it so easily? At least she’s not wasting her time. She knows what she wants and goes for it.

I feel like he should just be honest with her about the whole situation with his dad so it doesn’t end up backfiring on him if they do decide to date.

She’s so angry. They’re always fighting. With this fighting mood, she goes to the office in charge of the kids who lived with their abusive mom. Yuri blames the social worker and they get into a really explosive fight.

I found this part to be very unprofessional of Yuri to physically engage in a fight. I get that she feels deeply about this case and rightly so because those kids didn’t deserve to be treated that way; but she shouldn’t have yelled like that and grabbed the social worker.

I was like, can’t Yuri’s license get revoked because of something like this??

I believe in settling things in a calm, but assertive way or a way that outsmarts the system since it’s the system that’s broken.

Uh-oh there’s a reporter. This doesn’t look good for either of them. I can bet you there’s gonna be an article or something going viral over the fight even if Yuri sternly tells him not to publish anything.
