The Sunshine Blogger Awards has been around for a few years now.
It’s one of the first blogging tags I came across a few years ago, but somehow in the 10+ years I’ve been blogging, never tried doing a blogging tag prior to these Hallotober and Blogtober tags this year.
Mostly because I always stuck to my core topics.
I was also a music blogger for more than 5 years before opening this blog where I talk about online business through blogging, self-care, personal development and travel.
It was just last month when I participated in my first blogging tag post in time for Halloween.
And now, I’m on to my second.

Here are my answers to Jack’s questions:
Aside from blogging, what is your favourite hobby?
I used to view blogging as a hobby when I started. Over the years, I tweaked my mindset to view it as a business because I knew I wanted to become a full-time blogger eventually. Now that I am a full-time blogger, I’d have to say that my favourite hobby is watching Korean dramas like Itaewon Class. And more recently, learning the choreography to Astro’s Crazy, Sexy, Cool.
Do you consider yourself successful in what you do, or do you want to be more?
I am critical of my progress and success that often I feel like I’m not making much progress. Though lately, through the monthly blogging review column I’ve revived, I’m able to reflect on my wins of the previous month. Recently, I garnered my highest blog views ever, and I’m so happy about that even if I know that blog views aren’t everything. Being a critical person, I always strive to improve and set bigger goals for myself and my blogging business.
Do you have any tattoos, if so, how many and where?
I don’t have any tattoos, though I used to want to get a small tattoo of a start on my inner wrist. I have a low pain tolerance, so I probably will never get a tattoo. If you count henna tattoos, then yes, I’ve gotten a few henna tattoos in the past because they’re painless and temporary. Also, I heard some tattoos can fade over time and turn green! Imagine if you got your eyebrows tattooed, and then a couple of years later you wake up to green eyebrows?!
iPhone or Android?
iPhone just because I’ve gotten used to it. I wouldn’t mind switching to an Andriod if I had a good reason to.
What is your favourite food to cook?
I don’t like cooking, but I love to eat.
How many income streams do you have, what are they?
I have 6 income streams, which are:
Long term investments including stocks (I’ve put my Finance degree to use with this one)
Part-time consultant as managing editor for an online publication
What is your favourite all-time movie?
I can never get tired of watching Harry Potter. It’s not only a classic but also like a comfort blanket.
If you could get on a plane tomorrow and go anywhere, where would you go?
Maybe it’s because I’ve been binge-watching so many Korean dramas during quarantine and became a recent Kpop fan, but I want to go back to South Korea. I’ve been there once, but there are still so many things I want to experience such as watching an Astro concert and visiting Korean drama filming locations.
Given the choice, would you take infinite wealth or infinite happiness?
I’m sure you’ve heard of that phrase that “money can’t buy happiness”, but for me, it can give you financial security and an opportunity to give back. One of my favourite affirmations recently has been “the more I receive, the more I give!” So for this, I would pick infinite wealth because I could support my parents, and support small business owners and treat my friends whenever I’d like. Plus, I’d be able to travel whenever I want to without worrying about the expenses. And travel is one of my most significant sources of happiness.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
I would love to have teleportation. Where I’m from, traffic is a huge problem, so imagine just willing yourself to be in a particular place and in a few seconds you’re already there. And think of how it could also apply to travel. I’d be able to save on plane ticket costs as well as other transportation!
What do you want to achieve in 2021?
I have lots of goals for 2021, especially since the majority of what I had initially planned for 2020 didn’t push through (like going on press trips). But the biggest goal I want to achieve in 2021 which I’m working on this year too is to finally be offered publication for my young adult novel. Though lately, I’ve been thinking about self-publishing my young adult novel. We’ll see!!
Now for Seriah’s questions:
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
I like to envision that I’m happy, healthy and glowing because I’m financially abundant and secure. I’m doing things that make me happy and serve my true purpose.
Which movie is your favourite?
Growing up, I would always cite Freaky Friday or School of Rock as my favourite movies, but now, any Harry Potter movie is my go-to.
What is your spirit animal?
I’ve never put much thought into this. I decided to take a quiz instead, and it said that my spirit animal is an owl.
Which affirmations do you go by daily?
My success is inevitable, and I am always on the right path.
I am happy, healthy, and calm.
I list more in this post.
What show impacted your childhood?
Loads but at the top of my head Lizzie McGuire, Totally Spies, and The Powerpuff Girls.
Why did you start blogging?
In the beginning, it was because I wanted to document my concert experiences so I wouldn’t forget what happened during each show I went since I went to a lot. A couple of years ago, my purpose behind blogging changed. I saw blogging as my way to make a full-time income from writing so that I could have control of my time.
What is something you’re really picky about?
I’m picky about how I choose to spend my time.
What’s your favourite scent?
Probably lavender. I haven’t really experimented much with scents. Though I can’t stand it when a smell is overpowering.
What’s your favourite self-care practice?
This year it has been watching Korean dramas.
Who inspires you?
My mom, my friends, fellow bloggers, and Cha Eun Woo
Now it’s my turn to ask you 11 questions:

What’s your favourite quote?
Do you have a sport? If yes, how did you get into that?

Do you have a bucket list?
